Velumani, a distinguished leader and former Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development, and Law of Tamil Nadu, as our Chief Guest for the Coimbatore 5K Marathon 2025. A three-time elected MLA from the AIADMK party and recipient of 107 national awards for transformative rural development initiatives, Thiru. Velumani has been instrumental in elevating Tamil Nadu as India's top-ranked state in rural sanitation (2018-19) – a feat recognized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His journey from an agricultural family to shaping state policies embodies the perseverance and community spirit that marathon running celebrates.
